  3. Adobe Audition has a built in mp3 encoder. Its one of the best ones out there. It gives you a lot of choice over how you want a file saved.

    This is the exact same Cool Edit program which was common a few years ago. Adobe bought out Santrilliam and changed its name to Audition. You can download a free trial copy from the adobe website.
